Hospitality · Business story

Table seven wants the bill. The phone wants everything.

Hot soup, a busy service, and someone calling about Saturday.

The telephone has not read the menu.

In our imaginary restaurant, Lea is carrying two plates, looking for table three and answering a question about bread. The phone rings. Apparently it has confused “service” with “unlimited number of arms.”

At the other end, an English-speaking guest is organising dinner with friends. He wants to check the opening hours and request a table for Saturday.

Hospitality starts with listening.

A configured Sprechzeit assistant could share the opening hours provided by the restaurant and capture a reservation request: day, preferred time, party size and callback number.

Without confirmed availability, it remains a request. The assistant does not invent a spare table. Allergies and other questions it cannot reliably answer belong with the team.

A small moment between courses.

Later, Lea checks the available summary and establishes what is possible. The caller gets an answer from the business when she calls back. The guests already there keep her attention.

Table seven has paid. The soup has reached its intended destination. And nobody has had to explain to a telephone why there is no room for it on the tray.

Could this fit your business?

For smaller restaurants and hospitality businesses that want to capture German and English enquiries while service is underway.

We agree the information, call routes and limits during setup. Available summaries can be reviewed in Sprechzeit Control for Windows. Additional delivery channels require a separately confirmed setup. Appointment and reservation requests are only confirmed after a connected system reports success.
